Welcome to the Queen Bead!

Owned and operated Ann Custer, The Queen Bead is the newest incarnation of a business that has flourished for almost 20 years. 

The business has changed and grown through the years.  Ann, along with 2 friends, Joni & Julie, opened The Silly Goose in 1989. 

In 1993 the business became Hearts Desire Crafts & Gifts and as Joni & Julie moved on, Ann's Mom, Theresa, joined the team.  Joni & Julie have always been there to help and support the business. 

Ann & Theresa maintained store fronts in Spring Lake Park and later in Elk River, Minnesota from 2001 until 2007.  The Queen Bead line was added to the business in 2004.

Now Ann runs the Queen Bead from her private studio, where she offers classes and products.
